Progress shots of my re-styling the Riku wig for some upcoming conventions and videos. :D It’s been so long since I spiked something up from scratch like this, I forgot how long it takes! And how annoyingly sticky it is, I think I washed my hands six or seven times just doing these.
And because I’m a huge loser, the whiskey bottle I’ve been using as a wig mount.
Sewed a handful of new wefts into my Riku wig after giving it a good washing. Tomorrow I start styling it back up again!
I’ve been really hesitant to post any of these photos, since I was really hoping/waiting for a more professional looking shoot, but since it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen in the near near future…I decided I may as well. xD
So here’s me as Linneus from Otakon last year! I still adore this outfit, even if it was a pain in the butt to get in and out of! Seriously, between the straps and the chains on the back I kept getting tangled. It was like maneuvering into a bondage outfit, a very, very fancy bondage outfit.
Disappointed I can’t find any photos of me and my tea tray. >: Think a friend still has them, anyways, I made his tea tray and even had the rose and some cookies! The cookies got eaten pretty quickly though, by the artists themselves no less! 8D<3
Good thing I do too! I need to take more ridiculous photos as him!

Tidus really wanted to learn the sending dance so they could save some time….too bad he doesn’t have an ounce of grace outside the water. On the bright side, Auron and Wakka weren’t around to laugh at me. xD

First photo of my Tidus cosplay at Anime Boston this year! I had SO MUCH FUN! I’m gonna be Tidus a lot more often from this point on, I really connect with the character, and I just had a blast talking to people and running around the con as him!
